Introducing…
We’re opening the garden gates a little wider and would love to welcome a few more hands into the studio.
Whether you’re a stay-at-home parent with a creative itch, a local artist looking to learn something new, or just someone who finds peace in making beautiful things—you might be the perfect fit for The Felt Flower Society.
You don’t need experience—just a good attitude, gentle hands, and a willingness to help. Everyone starts with simple tasks like prepping petals or arranging flowers, and over time, you’ll learn the rhythm of the studio and grow into more involved roles if you’d like. Read more below-

What is The Felt Flower Society?
The Felt Flower Society is an initiative within St. Christopher Gardens to support the continued growth by welcoming others into the creative process. As demand for our handmade felt florals has grown, so has the need for thoughtful, steady hands to help bring them to life. This is a slowcraft-centered effort—ideal for those seeking mindful, hands-on work in a studio environment rooted in care and creativity.
Our hope is that over time, this will become a true fellowship of makers—people who believe in the vision, value the craft, and are willing to learn alongside us as we shape what this part of the studio can become.
However, we don’t even know how this will look in time! So help form this idea into reality with me by filling out the interest form / application at the bottom of the page if you are interested.

Ways To Help
-
Volunteer
Volunteers help with simple flower prep and assembly, creating stems that go directly into our donation bank of flowers set aside for local causes and people who could use a small boost of love to brighten whatever they may be going through.
These are unpaid positions, but they’re a start to how we begin giving back through the studio. Your time and care help bring comfort and beauty to someone else’s day- which only enriches the meaning behind each stem. -
Intern
Interns are paid, hands-on helpers who support the day-to-day work of the studio. This role starts with simple flower prep and gradually grows by flower complexity with experience.
Interns are here to learn, contribute, and be part of shaping how this branch of the studio evolves. It’s a great fit for someone who values slow, intentional work and wants to be part of a creative team rooted in care and community.
Interns are paid hourly as independent contractors, starting at $12–15/hr depending on experience and role OR by the stem/yard for certain flower types . This is a small studio and our hope is to grow paid opportunities as we expand!
